Who We Are

The Bullhead City Metropolitan Planning Organization works collaboratively with local, regional, state, and federal agencies to develop and implement plans, programs, and projects that cross jurisdictional boundaries. Our focus includes transportation, human services, and economic development.

The Bullhead City Metropolitan Planning Organization staff reports to the Executive Board and coordinates efforts with the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) to ensure informed and effective decision-making. The organization is supported by a dedicated team consisting of a Director and a Transportation Planner/Grant Writer.

What We Do

Our Mission

The mission of the Bullhead City Metropolitan Planning Organization is to deliver a cooperative, continuous, and comprehensive transportation planning process that builds regional consensus and advances improvements to the transportation system.

We strive to balance the needs of roadways, public transit, pedestrians, and other modes of travel while supporting regional goals related to economic development, land use, and environmental sustainability. A cornerstone of our mission is to ensure meaningful public participation throughout the planning process.
